CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Hark, how the bells, sweet silver bells. All seem to say, “Throw cares away.” Christmas is here, bringing good cheer — and just a little bit of “Holiday Magic,” courtesy of the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra.
That’s according to the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra itself, which recently announced its “Holiday Magic” concert happening next month.
“Start with twinkling lights, add a dash of holiday flair, some carolers, and musicians and you have a recipe for Holiday Magic!” a release from the orchestra stated. “The Cheyenne Symphony invites you to ring in the season with our much-anticipated annual holiday concert on December 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Cheyenne Civic Center!”
This year, the Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra is once again partnering with the All-City Children’s Chorus, Cheyenne Chamber Singers and En Avant Dance Studio for a “festive concert of holiday favorites,” presented by HF Sinclair.
Those favorites include a wide array of Christmas classics, including selections from “The Nutcracker,” “Silver Bells,” “Sleigh Ride” and more. They will also perform “Fantasia on Greensleeves,” led by the 2024 Make Me the Maestro winner, Lindi Kirkbride.
Additionally, the orchestra will perform “Various Themes on Fa-La-La,” arranged by local composer John Fritz and sung by the All-City Children’s Chorus, as well as “On Christmas Night,” “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and more.
“CSO’s Holiday Magic concert has something for everyone and is a merry way to celebrate the season,” the release stated. “Join us for an enchanting evening that will uplift your spirits and fill your heart with nostalgia during this special time of year.”
