CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Families looking to pick up their Christmas trees while supporting area nonprofits will be able to do just that over the coming days at the Cheyenne Firefighters annual Charity Christmas Tree Sale.
The event is slated to kick off today at 4 p.m. and run until 7 p.m. It will then continue Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The sale will be held in the lot behind Fire Station 1, 716 W. 19th St.
Proceeds raised through the sale will go toward supporting local nonprofits Youth Alternatives and Cheyenne Safe House. Youth Alternatives offers a wide range of services to assist youth and families, including family counseling, court services, mentoring and outreach programs and more. Cheyenne Safe House provides a variety of services to victims and survivors of domestic violence, stalking, sexual assault and other forms of violence.
