CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Two Cheyenne nonprofit organizations are hosting a Gun Bingo Fundraiser at The Archer Event Center, Building M, on Feb. 1 from 5 to 9 p.m.
That’s according to a release from Family Promise, which states that proceeds from the event will support local families and enhance community programs.
The release states that tickets to the event are $50 and include 10 games of bingo, as well as dinner. Dinner itself may be purchased for $10 per ticket. Business or individual sponsorships are available.
Prizes for the bingo games include guns, gift baskets, trips and more.
“The proceeds of the fundraiser for Cheyenne Day of Giving will be used to directly support their partner agencies, while Family Promise of Cheyenne proceeds will be used for direct services to their clients,” the release states.
Both nonprofit organizations have been a part of Cheyenne for over 20 years. Cheyenne Day of Giving always hosts a community event in May that yields money and item donations to serve and support countless other nonprofit organizations in Cheyenne throughout the year. Family Promise of Cheyenne is, the release states, the only family-focused homeless program in Cheyenne that offers shelter, rent and utility assistance, as well as transitional housing and other types of support, to Cheyenne families that have minor children and are in crisis.
This event will offer an opportunity for Cheyenne residents to help support both organizations, and the community as a whole, while enjoying an evening of entertainment.
“We are excited to provide the community with a fun, family night of Gun Bingo,” said Misty Saxon, executive director of Family Promise of Cheyenne. “Each dollar raised through this event will make a significant impact on the lives of our most vulnerable residents.”
Tickets for the event can be purchased at www.familypromiseofcheyenne.org/event-details/gun-bingo-2025 or by phone at 307-772-8770.
