CASPER, Wyo — The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the death of comedian and television star Bob Saget. He was 65.
According to the release, deputies were dispatched earlier Sunday to the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Orlando, Florida, for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room.
“The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case,” the release said.
Saget had performed the previous night as part of his “I Don’t Do Negative” comedy tour.
Saget was renowned for his starring role on the ABC sitcom “Full House,” and was host of “America’s Funniest Home Videos.”
Outside of those family-friendly programs, Saget was known for more ribald humor, evidenced by his infamous appearance in the documentary “The Aristocrats,” which chronicles the legacy of one of the comedy world’s most outrageous inside jokes.
