CHEYENNE, Wyo. — True Troupe will be doing its annual classics in the park this weekend with a performance of “Lady Windermere’s Fan” by Oscar Wilde.

The four-act play will take place at 6 p.m. on Aug. 12 and Aug. 13 at Cahill Park. The show will be less than two hours and will offer a talkback afterward. The show is free, though donations are accepted. People are encouraged to bring chairs or a blanket to sit on.

The play follows the trials of Lady Windermere, who suspects that her husband is having an affair with another woman. When she confronts him, he denies it, but then invites the other woman, Mrs. Erlynne, to Lady Windermere’s birthday ball. In response to this gesture, Lady Windermere decides to leave her husband for another lover.
