CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Four Laramie County institutions have received grants totaling a collective $91,832.
On Wednesday, the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund board announced it was awarding 27 grants to a variety of projects and organizations throughout the state, including historic preservation efforts, interpretive signage, museum and art exhibits, folk festivals, concerts, equipment and touring theatre events. The trust fund board awarded a total of $447,698.07 across all the grants, with about a fifth of those funds going toward Laramie County.
The Laramie County projects and organizations that received awards include the following:
- $12,000: Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum for Preservation and Stewarding a Precious Historical Regional Textile Collection
- $9,000: Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra for 2024 Symphony Underground and Symphony at Sunset
- $46,832: Wyoming State Archives for Solutions to the Nitrate Negative Storage
- $24,000: Wyoming Stock Growers Land Trust for Inspired by Land Exhibit
