CHEYENNE, Wyo. — On Friday, coffee drinkers can get their caffeine fix while supporting the Special Olympics of Wyoming.
From 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., Dutch Bros Wyoming is partnering with the Special Olympics for a Give Back Day. During that day, one dollar from every drink sold at Dutch Bros locations across Wyoming will be donated to Special Olympics Wyoming.
The donation will help fund essential resources for Special Olympics athletes, including sports equipment, meals and competition fees, a news release said.
“We’re honored to partner with Special Olympics Wyoming and support their incredible mission. Their dedication to empowering athletes of all abilities aligns perfectly with our values, and we’re thrilled to be a part of their work in fostering inclusion and community across the state.” Dana Caspar, public relations manager for Dutch Bros Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming, said.
Special Olympics athletes will be on hand to greet customers in the coffee line from 9 a.m. to noon.
“Dutch Bros has a tremendous reputation for giving back to local communities and nonprofits. This is an exciting partnership that will benefit Special Olympics Wyoming athletes in so many ways. We are grateful for the generous support from Dutch Bros,” President and CEO of Special Olympics Wyoming Jennifer Haines said.
