CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Public hearings were held on property trades and annexing of property in the city at the City Council meeting on June 13.
The first of these properties is on a portion of Missle Drive and consists of 2.35 acres. They are hoping to trade this property on a portion of the Grier Leech Addition. They also spoke about trading property on Storey Boulevard, which consists of 2.24 acres, and 1720 Cleveland Ave. These would be traded for the US 30 Business Plaza.
The purpose of this trade is to gain property so that new fire stations may be built in the city.
The City Council voted to annex land northwest of the intersection of Christensen Road and Pershing Boulevard, land located north of Missle Drive east of Interstate 25, and land located north of High Plains Road west of I-25.
All annexations of land were approved on third and final reading at the meeting.
