CHEYENNE, Wyo. — There will be some slight changes to the City of Cheyenne’s trash and recycling pickup schedule for the upcoming Labor Day holiday.

Pickup scheduled for this upcoming Monday — Labor Day — will instead take place Saturday, with the city requesting that all trash and recycle containers be outside by 6 a.m.

The city’s Solid Waste Transfer Station at 220 N. College Drive, the Compost Facility at 3714 Windmill Road and the Happy Jack Landfill at 1416 Happy Jack Road will all also be closed Monday and will be slated to reopen Tuesday. The Household Hazardous Waste station, located at the same spot as the Solid Waste Transfer Station, will be closed both Monday and Tuesday and will be scheduled to reopen Wednesday.
