CHEYENNE, Wyo. — L’Osteria Mondello is looking to bring “an array of experiences from Italy and the Mediterranean atmosphere with beverages to complement” its dishes, and to do that it’s seeking a new restaurant liquor license.
The Cheyenne City Council will host a public hearing regarding the liquor license when it meets at 6 p.m. today at City Hall, 2101 O’Neil Ave. Meetings are livestreamed on the city’s Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages.
The request comes from restaurant co-owners Anika Williams and Jasmin Agovic, who in a letter to Mayor Patrick Collins and the City Council said the ability to serve alcoholic beverages will balance their dishes and round out their menus.
The business’s lease is in effect through June 2028, and the landlord has granted permission to sell alcoholic beverages if L’Osteria Mondello is permitted by the city to do so, according to city documents.
