Vacancy on Cheyenne’s Contractor Licensing Board; residents invited to apply

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The City of Cheyenne is currently seeking applications to fill a vacancy on the Contractor Licensing Board. The term for this position will expire on Dec. 31, 2025.

The Contractor Licensing Board plays a role in maintaining standards within the city. It sets qualification and examination criteria for the licensing of building contractors. Additionally, the board is responsible for conducting hearings and investigations to enforce the Cheyenne City Code.

Members of the CLB meet monthly to discuss and manage licensing matters. Appointees to the board are granted four-year terms, with the possibility of priority consideration for subsequent terms.

Residents interested in contributing to the Cheyenne community through this board can find the application on the board’s website. The deadline to submit applications is 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1.
