Public meeting set for US30/Whitney/Dell Range construction project on Feb. 13

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — On Feb. 13, the Wyoming Department of Transportation, the City of Cheyenne and Laramie County, along with Reiman Corp. and Aztec Construction, will be hosting a public open house to discuss the upcoming construction projects US30/Whitney/Dell Range in East Cheyenne. The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Cheyenne Hills Church, 7505 Lincoln Highway.

The meeting’s goal is to present the project’s purpose and need, its history, and the current project plans for public comment. The project’s schedule has shifted from the initial timeline presented in 2022. Engineers and subject matter experts will be on hand to explain the changes.

After a short presentation beginning at 5:45 p.m., those involved in the project will discuss further questions in a panel discussion. Consultants from TriHydro and AVI will have exhibits displayed for the general public.

WYDOT officials and other subject matter experts will be in attendance to answer questions and discuss any public concerns.
