Public Services Committee to review resolutions for paving Birch Place, Ridge Road

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Birch Place and Ridge Road may soon be paved if Cheyenne’s Public Services Committee recommends approval of two resolutions for the work.

On Monday, the Cheyenne City Council approved sending the resolutions to the committee.

The Birch Place resolution would consist of paving work between Charles and Cheyenne streets, where the road is not paved. Curbs, gutters and sidewalks would also be installed as part of the process, per the resolution.

The Ridge Road resolution would OK paving between Hillcrest Road and Stevens Drive, where the road is unpaved. It also lacks curbs, gutters and sidewalks, which would be installed.

Both resolutions state the paving and installation of curbs, gutters and sidewalks are necessary to repair the road and prevent further damage to private property.
