CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Rotary Park Master Plan will head to the city’s Public Services Committee after the City Council acknowledged receipt of it Monday night.

The report, developed by DHM Design, will serve as a guideline for the future design, construction and operation of the new community park area, if adopted.

The 12-acre park property, located at the northwest corner of Dell Range Boulevard and Powderhouse Road, was donated to the city by the Cheyenne Rotary Club Foundation on April 24. An open house took place July 16 allowing for public input on park options. The city’s Planning Commission then hosted a public meeting Oct. 21 for public comments on the plan.
