CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The City of Cheyenne Aquatic Center, originally set to close for the holiday Nov. 28–29, is now shut down indefinitely. A power surge on Monday caused significant damage to the control panel of the facility’s domestic hot water system, a critical component for operations.
Repairs are underway, with crews working to restore the damaged system. Officials expect the work to be completed by the end of the week, but they did not provide a definitive reopening date.
