CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne City Council members nominated a new president and vice president to the governing body on Tuesday during the annual Straw Poll Dinner.
Councilmember Mark Rinne, representing Ward II, was nominated as president. Councilmember Scott Roybal, representing Ward I, was nominated as vice president. The nominations will be formally voted on at the City Council meeting Jan. 6. The terms will be effective for one year.
In 2024, Ken Esquibel of Ward III was president, while Rinne was vice president.
