Mayor’s Council for People with Disabilities receives new members

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Over 20 applications were approved Monday night for volunteer positions on city boards and committees.

Members of the Cheyenne City Council approved the reappointments of more than a dozen volunteers. On top of that, four people will be joining the Mayor’s Council for People with Disabilities. More new faces will be representing other city boards, too. 

The following people received reappointments:

  • Kevin Paintner to the Cheyenne Airport Board. He will serve a five-year term.
  • Scott Homar to the Fire Civil Service Commission. He will serve a three-year term.
  • Don Herrold, Milward Simpson, Josh Chrysler and Gary Sims to the Historic Preservation Board. They will serve three-year terms.
  • Boyd Wiggam and Meghan Connor to the Planning Commission. They will serve three-year terms.
  • Erin LeBlanc and Linda Burt to the Board of Adjustment. One member will serve a full three-year term, while the other will fill a vacancy that expires in two years.
  • Jason Powell, Jason Stephen and Paul Pomeroy to the Contractor Licensing Board. They will serve four-year terms.
  • Randy Byers and Josh Morris to the Building Code Board of Appeals. They will serve three-year terms.

In addition to the reappointments, seven other volunteers will be joining city boards. Those new appointments are as follows:

  • Tom Roberts to the Police Civil Service Commission. He will serve a three-year term.
  • Daniel Meyer to the Building Code Board of Appeals. He will serve a three-year term.
  • Brian Fenimore to the Contractor Licensing Board. He will serve a four-year term.
  • Rebecca Millett, Tom Gallagher, Gregory Smith and Daisha Hunter to the Mayor’s Council for People with Disabilities. Two people will be serving full four-year terms. One person will be filling a vacancy that lasts another two years, and another is taking over another seat with a term ending at the end of 2025.
