CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Cheyenne Greenway Foundation has been selected to be the focus of an upcoming Thankful Thursday, a “Party with a Purpose” event, on Thursday, March 20, at the Lincolnway Event Center, 3839 E. Lincolnway.
The event begins at 4 p.m. with a live auction beginning at 6 p.m. Entry is free and food will be available for sale. Thankful Thursday is a 21 and over event.
Items available for auction will include:
- A Hell on Wheels Rodeo package;
- Limited edition art prints from Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum;
- A Boogie Cruiser e-bike;
- A Bakcou e-bike;
- Two nights at The Bunkhouse Airbnb in Dubois, Wyoming;
- A 40-pound Beef Bundle; and
- Two tickets to the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band at the Cheyenne Civic Center.
The Cheyenne Greenway Foundation’s mission is to raise awareness and encourage use of the Greater Cheyenne Greenway and trails systems for fitness, exercise, relaxation and community events.
The foundation also encourages the expansion of trails and multi-use paths in the Cheyenne area and works to increase public support for the Greater Cheyenne Greenway system. The foundation’s work to secure private funding has helped complete special projects on the Greenway such as bike fix-it stations, wayfinding signs and art along the Greenway.
