CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Laramie County commissioners authorized two $1,700 contracts during their afternoon meeting, allowing the county sheriff’s department to conduct tobacco and alcohol inspections.
The rate is $85 per inspection. The term of the tobacco contract is from Jan. 1, 2024, through June 10, 2024, and all services need to be completed during this term. The determent must complete two tobacco compliance inspections per year for every establishment that sells tobacco products in the county, including bars. The first inspections must take place between Jan. 1 and March 31, 2024, and the second must take place between April 1 and June 10, 2024.
The term of the alcohol contract is from July 1, 2023, through May 28, 2024. The department must complete two alcohol compliance inspections per year for every establishment that sells alcohol products in the county, including bars. The first compliance inspections must take place between July 1 and Dec. 31, 2023, and the second must take place between Jan. 1 and May 28, 2024.
