Laramie County OK’s $150K annual agreement for Cheyenne Housing Authority services

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Cheyenne Housing Authority will receive $150,000 from Laramie County as part of an annual human services agreement.

On Tuesday, Laramie County commissioners approved the agreement, effective for July 1 through June 30, 2025, during their regular meeting.

In exchange for the $150,000, the Cheyenne Housing Authority will provide the following services for the county:

  • Services set in the Wyoming Division of Aging Title III(c) Nutrition Program as mandated by the Older Americans Act
  • Services set in the Wyoming Division of Aging Title III(b) Social Services Program as mandated by the Older Americans Act
  • Services set in the Wyoming Division of Aging Title III(e) Family Caregiver Program as mandated by the Older Americans Act
  • Health promotion services for senior citizens.

The funds paid to the Cheyenne Housing Authority are paid incrementally at $37,500 on the first days of October, January, April and June, per the agreement.
