CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Laramie County Board of County Commissioners has approved contracts booking services for upcoming events and securing new medical equipment.
Commissioners have ratified contacts with two outside companies for events in March and August. The first is a contract between the county and the Adventure Zone Inc. to help put on the “Wyoming Bounce Bash” event March 1–2 at the Event Center at Archer. Adventure Zone has agreed to supply the county with games, inflatable attractions and employees to operate the games. The county is paying the company $16,200 for its services.
A separate event is scheduled to take place in the summer. The county has passed an agreement to grant Live a Little Productions Inc. permission to hold a motorsports and truck event Aug. 9 at the county’s Motocross Park. The county will pay the company $19,880 to put on the event, called the Insanity Fest Motorsports Thrill Show. In return, the county will receive all sales for concessions, tickets and sponsorships.
Finally, General Medical Devices Inc. AED Professionals is supplying the county with 12 automated external defibrillators, per a contract. The county is paying the company $19,140 for the medical equipment.
