Cap City News introduces ‘Meet the Candidates’ Q&A series ahead of Aug. 20 primary election

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — With Wyoming’s primary election just two months away, many residents are likely undecided on who they will vote for at the polling station. That’s where Cap City News comes in to help.

To help voters make informed decisions on which candidates to support, Cap City News is presenting its “Meet the Candidates” series. Over the next several weeks, Q&As from local, county and state-level candidates will be published to help readers get to know who will be on their ballots Aug. 20.

Cap City News will be sending inquiries to candidates and publishing their answers from now until early August. Articles will be posted weekly on Saturdays.

Candidates running for the following positions will receive their own dedicated articles:

  • City of Cheyenne mayor
  • City of Cheyenne city councilmember
  • Laramie County commissioner
  • Wyoming representative (Districts 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 41, 42, 43, 44 and 61)
  • Wyoming senator (Districts 4, 6 and 8)
