CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Cheyenne League of Women Voters is providing local voters with several online tools to become informed before casting their ballots in the primary election either before or on Aug. 20.

Throughout July, league members interviewed candidates in contested races for Wyoming House districts, Senate District 6, Laramie County commissioner, Cheyenne mayor and City Council Wards I and II.

Cheyenne LWV Vice Chair Keren Meister-Emerich, who has spearheaded this project, explained that as an interview was conducted through Zoom, the video was uploaded to three different locations as soon as possible. To access the videos, voters may visit:

  • Facebook: Click here
  • The LWV website: Click here
  • YouTube: Click here

In addition to the candidate video interviews, voters may use an online voter guide here.

Cheyenne LWV Chair Kari Eakins, who is responsible for this effort, said Vote 411 provides voters with “one-stop-shop” nonpartisan information. At the website, a voter may enter their address for a personalized ballot and candidate information.

The 104-year-old League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization created to help citizens be engaged in their government, be informed and vote. It advocates for issues but not candidates or political parties.
