CHEYENNE, Wyo. — House District 61 incumbent Daniel J. Singh won his primary race against challenger Matt Malcolm on Tuesday.
Singh earned 506 votes, roughly 58% of the total votes cast. Malcolm received an 353 votes.
Singh has served his district since 2023. He currently sits on the House Travel, Recreation, Wildlife and Cultural Resources Committee and the Select Committee on Blockchain, Financial Technology and Digital Innovation Technology.
Singh does not have a Democratic Party opponent in the general election, though the last day for independents to file is Aug. 26.
All election results are unofficial until ratified by the state.
