CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Cheyenne League of Women Voters has provided additional online videos and information about candidate races for the general election.
In early October, league members interviewed candidates in contested races for Wyoming House districts, Senate District 8, City Council Ward III, and the Laramie County Community College Board of Trustees and Laramie County School District No. 1 Board of Trustees. Information about the races for Cheyenne mayor, City Council Wards I and II and Laramie County Board of County Commissioners gathered in July also remains accessible.
All candidates in the contested races were contacted, although not all chose to respond.
To access the videos, voters may go to Facebook here or YouTube here.
Cap City News has also published a variety of Q&A articles with candidates in the general election. To access these interviews, click here.
In addition to the candidate video interviews, voters may use an online voter guide at www.vote411.org. This website provides voters with “one-stop-shop” nonpartisan information by showing a personalized ballot and candidate information after a voter enters their address.
The 104-year-old League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization to help citizens be engaged in their government, be informed and vote. It advocates for issues, but not candidates or political parties.
