CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Early voting in Wyoming started Oct. 8, and it continues this week on the march toward the Nov. 5 general election.
Cap City News has compiled a voting guide complete with information on how, when and where to vote; which candidates will appear on the ballot; and candidates that have returned Cap City News’s inquiries.
Cap City News will publish preliminary election results for contested races Tuesday, Nov. 5 as they become available. All results will be preliminary until certified by the local presiding board.
Several races were effectively determined in the August primaries. The following candidates are running in the general election uncontested. An “(I)” indicates the candidate is the incumbent.
- Laramie County Board of Commissioners: Don Hollingshead and Ty Zwonitzer, Republican
- Laramie County Assessor: Todd Ernst, Republican (I)
- LCSD2 Board of Trustees: Heidi Romsa (I) and Jerrid G. Wiles
- Conservation District Supervisor – Rural: Kevin Wells
- Conservation District Supervisor – At-Large: Casey F. Epler
- Senate District 4: Tara Nethercott, Republican (I)
- Senate District 6: Darin Smith, Republican
- House District 8: Steve Johnson, Republican
- House District 9: Landon J. Brown, Republican (I)
- House District 12: Clarence Styvar, Republican (I)
- House District 43: Ann Lucas, Republican
- House District 44: Lee Flier, Republican
- House District 61: Daniel J. Singh, Republican (I)
