CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The state of Wyoming has seen a record number of early voters ahead of the Nov. 5 general election.
As of Friday afternoon, over 100,000 residents have cast their ballots, according to Wyoming Secretary of State Chuck Gray. This represents nearly 40% of total registered voters in the Cowboy State.
“Turnout continues to outpace the 2022 general election across the Cowboy State as eligible Wyoming voters exercise their right to vote,” Gray said in a news release. “Voting is a crucial part of our republic, and I am proud of our efforts to ensure we are ready for election day. I am excited for Tuesday’s general election.”
Gray’s message is consistent with early voter turnout in Laramie County. On Thursday, Clerk Debra Lee said that over half of registered voters in the county have cast their ballots either in person or via absentee ballots.
Polling locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day. Laramie County residents can visit any of the following locations:
