Update, 11:36 p.m. — With roughly 80% of Wyoming’s ballots counted, Trump is reported as having 169,760 votes from the Cowboy State at the time of the update. Harris currently sits at 56,312 Wyoming votes.
New Jersey was recently declared as a Harris victory, giving her 214 electors. Trump maintains a comfortable lead as the final results from many states come in, with 247 electors.
Update, 11:05 p.m. — The Associated Press has called Georgia for Trump.
With 94% of Georgia’s ballots accounted for, Trump has received 2,640,803 votes to Harris’s 2,513,864.
Trump now holds 247 electors and is closing in on the 270 needed to win the White House.
Update, 10:10 p.m. — The Associated Press has called the presidential races in New Mexico and Virginia, both of which went to Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris.
Harris now sits at 210 secured electors, narrowly trailing Trump’s 230.
The candidates need to reach 270 electors to secure the White House.
Update, 9:22 p.m. — With roughly 27% of Wyoming’s ballots counted, Trump holds a comfortable lead over Harris in the state, as expected.
According to the Associated Press, Trump has secured 66,656 to Harris’s 23,249. Trump has received approximately 73% of the votes counted thus far.
Meanwhile, more states have been called by the AP. North Carolina and Iowa were both recently declared as victories for Trump, marking the first two of the hotly contested battleground states to be officially called.
Harris, meanwhile, secured Democrat strongholds in California, Washington and Oregon.
Trump currently sits at 230 electors to Harris’s 192. The magic number to secure the presidency is 270.
Update, 8:10 p.m. — At time of update, several states have now been called by the Associated Press.
Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Utah, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota and Montana have all been called in favor of Trump.
New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Illinois and Colorado have all been called in favor of Harris.
Currently, Trump sits at 198 electors, while Harris is projected at 109. The magic number to secure the presidency is 270.
CASPER, Wyo. — The Associated Press has called the presidential election in Wyoming for former President Donald Trump, with no Wyoming votes being reported yet. Should the results hold, as expected, Trump would receive the Cowboy State’s three electoral votes.
Other states that have been called include Florida and Texas, both of which also went to Trump.
