The Central Rocky Mountain Region (CRMR) announced it is canceling the first three rodeos of the spring season.
According to a release from the University of Wyoming, the cancelations in response to COVID-19 concerns were scheduled to be held at Gillette College, Eastern Wyoming College and Colorado State University. The season was to begin next week, said the release.
The spring season will tentatively start April 17-19 for the Casper College Rodeo. UW’s annual Laramie River Rendezvous Rodeo is still scheduled for April 24-26, and the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper is still scheduled for June 14-20.
