CASPER, Wyo. — Tickets for the Garth Brooks concert with Ned LeDoux sold out within an hour of going on sale on Thursday morning.
Tickets for the concert went on sale at 9 am Thursday and Cheyenne Frontier Days announced around 10 am on their Facebook page that tickets were sold out.
The Garth Brooks concert will kick off the concert line-up scheduled for the July 23-Aug 1 Cheyenne Frontier Days:
- July 23: Garth Brooks with Ned LeDoux
- July 24: Thomas Rhett with Rhett Akins
- July 25: Cody Johnson with Aaron Watson
- July 26-27: Professional Bull Riders – Last Cowboy Standing
- July 28: Maren Morris with TBA
- July 29: Kane Brown with Restless Road
- July 30: Eric Church with Ashley McBryde
- July 31: Blake Shelton with John King
Last July, in a video Garth Brooks hinted that he may be making a return to CFD in 2021. In the video, he talked about the buckle he cherishes from the 100th CFD and announced is reappearance in the 125th rodeo.
“Proud to say I cannot wait to see you for the 125th,” he said.
“One of my favorite memories was the fact that I got to play with Chris LeDoux,” he said. Wyoming rodeo and music legend LeDoux will be honored during the 2021 CFD.
“Thanks for giving me one of the greatest moments of my life, to come as well,” said Brooks in the video. “I love you guys, cowboy up.”
Once again, the Professional Bull Riders’ Last Cowboy Standing event at will be taking place during Cheyenne Frontier Days.

Last years Frontier Days was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On April 7th, 2021, Cheyenne Frontier Days CEO Tom Hirsig was joined by Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon and Cheyenne Mayor Patrick Collins to announce that CFD would be back in 2021.
CFD organizers say they are working closely with and taking guidance from the Governor’s Office and public health officials, including the Global Center for Health Security at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. While they are prepared to implement COVID procedures for cleanliness and sanitation, and will make adjustments as health and safety circumstances dictate, they do not expect any attendance limitations for concerts, rodeo or other CFD outdoor events.
“We are excited to get back to fulfilling our mission of economic impact to the community, and we look forward to safely welcoming our fans back to Frontier Park this summer,” said Tom Hirsig, CEO of Cheyenne Frontier Days. “It’s been a difficult year for our volunteers, staff, and the entire community. We hope this news will bring some optimism that we can finally see the light at the end of tunnel.”
