City of Cheyenne Weekend Events (6/17/22–6/19/22)

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The following are all the events happening from Friday, June 17 to Sunday, June 19.

Friday, June 17

  • Fridays on the Plaza is proud to present Red Jumpsuit Apparatus as its signature act that evening. Amber Pacific will be opening for the band. This event will take place from 5:30 to 9 p.m. 
  • Black Tooth Brewing will be having a performance from Scott Rupe from 6 to 9 p.m. The event will take place at the brewery, 520 W. 19th St.

Saturday, June 18

  • Celebrate freedom at the Juneteenth Celebration at Ames Avenue and Martin Luther King Drive. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will have games and several food trucks. 
  • Pride in the Park will be taking place at Holliday Park from 3 to 5 p.m. There will be several vendors and games to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. 
  • The Laramie County Library will provide a Genealogy Basics class from 3 to 4 p.m. Learn how to find your family in the U.S. Federal Census and vital records using internet genealogy databases such as Ancestry Library and print resources in our Special Collections.
  • Blue Raven Brewery is proud to host the blues–rock reggae band Higher the Mountain. They will be playing from 3 to 5 p.m. at the brewery, 209 E. 18th St.

Sunday, June 19

  • The Laramie County Library System will be holding an event to help locals learn how to vote and gain resources to learn about the primary candidates. This event will be taking place from noon to 8:30 p.m.
