CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne Roller Derby is holding a four-week no-cost boot camp this fall to help new players get introduced to the sport.

The event is for ages 7 and older and takes place every Monday night in October (with the exception of Halloween) from 7 to 9 p.m. at Roller City on 5506 Weaver Road. No experience is necessary and the group noted in a news release that loaner gear can and will be provided.

In addition to learning the ins and outs in regards to playing the sport, men and women non-skaters can also attend the events to inquire about officiating opportunities for future Cheyenne Roller Derby events.

The group encourages those with questions to contact the Cheyenne Roller Derby page on Facebook or visit its website at cheyennerollerderby.net.
