CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Cheyenne Kiwanis Club is inviting local residents to try their luck at Vegas-style casino games during the Kiwanis Kasino Night on Jan. 19, aiming to raise funds for local youth programs.

Set to take place from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Red Lion Hotel & Convention Center, the event will offer participants a variety of games including craps, blackjack, roulette and Texas hold ‘em. Organizer Patrick Brady promises an engaging Monte Carlo atmosphere, complete with food and prizes.

Tickets for this midwinter fundraising event are available both at the door and in advance through the Cheyenne Kiwanis Club’s website.

Brady emphasized the goal of raising enough funds to continue supporting vital community organizations. The Cheyenne Kiwanis Club, committed to improving the lives of children, has historically made significant donations to local charities focusing on at-risk children.

The club is renowned for its community projects, such as funding the development of a new park and hosting the famous pancake breakfasts during Cheyenne Frontier Days, according to a press release by the organization.

The Kiwanis Club has a track record of hosting successful casino events, including those held in 2022 and its 100th-anniversary celebration last year.
