CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Local organizers are working on an event to simultaneously bring laughs to Cheyenne residents and drum up support for two youth-based organizations.

On Saturday, Feb. 10, event hosts for the upcoming stand-up production Comedy For A Cause will be raising funds for the Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne and the local youth social services organization Safe Harbor. Three Colorado entertainers will be presenting their comedy material during the two-and-a-half-hour show, which is being put on by the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association Cowboy Chapter 211 and ROW Productions of Cheyenne.

Jared Chandler of Greeley, Colorado, and Christine Tomlinson and Emily Cornelius from Denver will be taking turns throughout the show cracking jokes and bringing laughter to southeast Wyoming residents.

The show, which will take place at Blue Community Events Center at World Headquarters on East Pershing Boulevard, will open its doors at 6 p.m. Performances will begin at 7 p.m.
