CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Laramie County Community College Rodeo Team is saddling up for its annual fundraiser, “Lariats-n-Lace,” a night that promises to wrangle support and enthusiasm for the team’s future. The event is set to gallop into action at 6 p.m. Friday, March 1 at the Little America Hotel & Resort.

This year’s roundup will include a hearty dinner, raffles and lively auctions — both silent and live — with proceeds earmarked to bolster scholarships, purchase essential gear, and cover the rodeo team’s operational expenses.

Event Schedule:

  • 6 p.m.: The Social Hour kicks off the festivities, inviting attendees to mingle and share tales from the rodeo circuit.
  • 7 p.m.: The Welcome and Dinner will treat guests to a feast fit for rodeo royalty, offering a taste of Western hospitality.
  • 8 p.m.: The evening’s main event, the Live Auction, promises high stakes and high spirits as patrons bid on unique items.

Tickets are now available for purchase, with individual seats going for $75 and tables for groups priced at $800 (for eight) and $1,000 (for 10). For supporters unable to attend but wishing to throw their hats into the ring, the silent auction will be accessible online, showcasing handcrafted items from LCCC Rodeo student athletes, community partners and friends of the team.

The Lariats-n-Lace event is the main piece of the LCCC Rodeo Team’s fundraising efforts, directly contributing to keeping the team in the saddle, both competitively and academically.

For more details on securing your spot at the event or participating in the silent auction, enthusiasts and supporters are encouraged to visit the team’s website.
