DKG Upsilon kicks off 40th annual used book sale Saturday

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne’s chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Upsilon is hosting its annual book sale beginning Saturday at the former Big Lots building in Cheyenne Plaza.

Since Jan. 29, the international society with Laramie County Community College has been collecting used books from members of the public at various sites around Cheyenne. The price of books during the sale on March 2–3 are as follows:

  • Hardcover: $2 each for adults, $1 each for children
  • Paperback: $1 each for adults, $1 for two copies for children

During the sale on March 9–10, buyers will be able to purchase a box full of texts for $10.

Any books remaining after the sale ends will be donated to organizations.

The sale will be hosted at the following times over the next two weekends:

  • Saturday, March 2 and 9: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, March 3: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Sunday, March 10: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
