CHEYENNE, Wyo. — As St. Patrick’s Day draws closer, various businesses around Cheyenne are preparing to host a variety of Irish-themed events throughout the weekend. Some establishments are hosting parties, preparing green-colored beer and offering happy hour specials, meals or dances.
The following businesses have events scheduled throughout the next several days.
- Roller City – 5506 Weaver Road
- 5–7 p.m. Thursday, March 14
- Cheyenne’s roller derby is hosting a family-friendly skate night for all ages. Green-colored clothing is encouraged. The event is being put on by Bain Elementary School.
- Dog Haus Biergarten Cheyenne – 3838 Atkin St.
- Friday, March 15 to Sunday, March 17
- In addition to green beer, Dog Haus is providing deals such as happy hour all day Friday through Saturday, $5 Irish Red Beer, $6 Jameson shot and $7 Pickleback shot.
- Railspur – 707 W. Lincolnway
- Friday, March 15 to Sunday, March 17
- Railspur has all-day food and drink specials Friday, a DJ dance party Saturday night and brunch specials on Sunday.
- The Outlaw Saloon – 312 S. Greeley Highway
- 8 p.m. Saturday, March 16
- This Cheyenne bar will feature live music from The Mello Fellos, drink specials and giveaways through the night.
- Westby Edge Brewing – 714 W. 20th St.
- 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16
- The brewery is holding its first Irish bash all day until 11 p.m.
- Little America Hotel & Resort – 2800 W. Lincolnway
- 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 17
- This Cheyenne hotel is preparing a brunch buffet that “celebrates the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day with a touch of elegance and a whole lot of flavor.” Meals are $45 for adults and $39 for kids ages 5–12.
- Board & Brush Creative Studio – 1719 Pioneer Ave.
- 1–3 p.m. Sunday, March 17
- The Cheyenne art studio is hosting a mini-sign workshop event. Participants can choose from a variety of paints and wood stain colors. All materials are provided.
- DTs Bar and Package Liquor – 2121 E. Lincolnway
- 1 p.m. Sunday, March 17
- This bar on Lincolnway is hosting a potluck and party for St. Patrick’s Day.
- Tusker Bar – 3310 Ridge Road
- 1 p.m. Sunday, March 17
- This bar will have a potluck, games, prizes and all-day specials for its Irish celebration.
- Peach Pit – 1805 E. 19th St., Suite 203
- Noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 17
- Those who have young kids can take them to this Cheyenne youth space for an Irish dance party.
- Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1881 – 2816 E. 7th St.
- 3–5 p.m. Sunday, March 17
- The Post 1881 is giving out $5 dinners consisting of corned beef, cabbage dinner roll and desert.
