CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Laramie County Coroner’s Office is holding its fifth annual Glow in the Dark Dodgeball contest Saturday to raise money for the office’s Grief Support Group and LOSS Team, both of which work with families who have lost loved ones.

The event will be held at the Event Center at Archer and will include 22 vendors, according to Andrea Tompkins, marketing manager with vendor organizer Simplicity 307 Vendor & Event. Sellers will be on site from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event also includes a raffle, live auction and concessions.

Teams should consist of at least six players and a maximum of eight. Every teammate is expected to participate at least once per game unless someone incurs an injury. For more information on tournament rules, click here.

The first- and second-place teams will receive a prize.

Doors open for the event at 10 a.m., and teams will sign in from 11 a.m. to noon the day of the tournament. Games are scheduled to commence at 1 p.m. Any teams that have not yet signed up have until 11:59 p.m. Friday to secure their spot in the bracket.

The cost for one team to register is $200. To sign up online, click here. Any teams paying at the door can click here and type the promo code “DODGE24” to join.

The Coroner’s Office is still looking to receive items to include in the event’s raffle. For additional information, contact Laramie County Coroner Rebecca Reid at 307-637-8000.
