CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Local firefighters had to rush to an emergency before Laramie County Fire District 10’s third annual Pancake Breakfast and Raffle on Saturday, but that ultimately failed to put a damper on the successful event.
The start of the breakfast was marked by a rollover accident along Interstate 80, but the first responders made it quickly to the scene, and before long the festivities were on. In all, the department served hundreds of pancakes, eggs and other breakfast staples.
Chris Perez was the winner of the Gun and Range membership raffle. Stag Arms and Otto Road Shooting Range donated the rifle and range membership, respectively.
The event wrapped up with the christening of two new vehicles — a tender truck and a fire engine.
