CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Friday nights in Cheyenne can be lively and fun if looking in the right place. However, there are also several free events available for all to enjoy.

Here are some free events to check out Friday, June 21.

Fridays at the Plaza: Marc Broussard

Famous musicians Marc Broussard with Mason McTell will be playing their unique twist on R&B to the public at Cheyenne Depot Plaza from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Broussard is known for his popular song “Home,” which launched him into the national touring stage. He has been releasing music for the past 10 years, and his cover records have benefited charities though his SOS, or Save Our Soul, foundation.

Teen International Movie Night: France

Enjoy watching “Belle & Sebastian” while trying some French snacks and crafts.

This event will take place in the Cottonwood room at the Laramie County Library from 3 to 5 p.m. The film showing is intended for teenagers grades 7–12. 

Family After Hours: Library Campout Stories

The Laramie County Library is holding a family-friendly campout in the Cottonwood Room from 6 to 7 p.m. The event will allow families to hang around a “campfire” and enjoy “marshmallows.” Additionally, it will include reading stories and singing fun campfire songs.
