CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Jets will take flight over F.E. Warren Air Force Base on July 24 for the Wings over Wyoming Airshow. The event will precede the start of Cheyenne Frontier Days, which falls on the same day.
This marks the return of the show, which wasn’t hosted in 2023.
The lineup of events includes the U.S. Air Force Academy Wings of Blue, the Air Force Thunderbird Demo, UH-1N Huey Demo, HH-60M Blackhawk static and UH-1N Huey Static. The airshow will be held in a drive-in format, the base reported in a release.
The base will open at 6:30 a.m. for parking, and the show is slated to begin at 10 a.m. The event is free to attend.
On July 23, the base will host Thunderbird Practice, open only to Department of Defense ID cardholders.
