Mingle with the neighborhood at countywide National Night Out event Aug. 6

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Neighborhood events are being held across Laramie County on one night in early August.

Residents and staff with the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office have an opportunity to meet at various locations Tuesday, Aug. 6 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. for the county’s National Night Out event. Residents can meet people who live in their areas, as well as the men and women who serve their community.

National Night Out aims to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a sense of community. These events are designed to bring neighbors, businesses and law enforcement together in partnership against crime in Laramie County.

National Night Out events will be at the following locations:

  • Little Bear Inn: Steak House and Bar, 1700 Interstate 25 Service Road, Cheyenne
  • HealthWorks, 2508 E. Fox Farm Road, Cheyenne
  • The Bunkhouse Bar and Grill, 1064 Happy Jack Road, Cheyenne
  • Liberty Park in the town of Burns, 112 Main St., Burns
  • Laramie County Fire District #3 in Albin, 3213 Road 217, Albin
  • 1800 Block of Charles Jake Court, Cheyenne
  • 5400 Skyline Drive, Cheyenne

Each venue will have food and activities. Fire trucks and sheriff vehicles will be present at the events. Laramie County Public Works will have some of its heavy equipment at 5400 Skyline Drive.
