CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The new school semester is now underway for both K–12 and college students. As summer fun comes to a close, weeklong events will start to slow down, but Cheyenne will continue to have plenty of evening and weekend events marching into the autumn season.

First Friday Future Gazing
Where: 600 W. 17th St.
When: 4–7 p.m.
It’s the first Friday of the month, and that means it’s time to see what messages are waiting for you from the other side!
Local psychic medium Jill Grund is back to bring you a night of tarot, fall vibes and (of course) plants!

Cheyenne Artwalk
Where: Outcast Vintage, 1906 Thomes Ave.
When: 5–8 p.m.
On the first Friday of each month, Arts Cheyenne and local business team together to get residents out and moving for the Cheyenne Artwalk. This month’s featured venue is Outcast Vintage. According to Arts Cheyenne, Outcast Vintage specializes in curated vintage clothing and accessories. September’s featured artist is bead jewelry maker Cassie Arnold.
First Friday Artwalk with Maren Kallas & Ocean Plains
Where: The Hawthorn Tree, 112 E. 17th St.
When: 5:30–8 p.m.
Join us this Friday for Artwalk with artist Maren Kallas and musical guest Ocean Plains.
Maren Kallas has a BFA in painting from Colorado State University. Her work explores the esoteric worlds as an interplay between natural light and color. Her current body of work consists of local landscapes and botanicals, many of which are painted on antique-salvaged surfaces. Maren is also a practicing astrologer and tarot reader here at the Hawthorn Tree. Recently she has been engaged in combining the cosmic symbolism of astrology with her love of landscape in a zodiac series. Six zodiac paintings will be on display during September at the Hawthorn Tree with prints available for purchase.
This event is FREE and open to the public.
Final Fantasy TCG Kickoff Party
Where: Game Masters, 1612 Central Ave.
When: 5-7 p.m.
Join us for a special evening dedicated to the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game. Whether you’re new to the game or a seasoned veteran, this event has something for you!

Recover Wyoming’s 13th Annual Cajun Fest

Recover Wyoming’s annual Cajun Fest is set to feature an inspiring speech from a recovery speaker, a comedian performance, a Cajun dinner, live and silent auctions and program updates. The event is held every September to highlight Recovery Month.

Join us for an enchanting evening celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Folklórico dancing. This traditional Mexican dance form, known for its colorful costumes and lively music, has roots that trace back to the ceremonial and social dances of indigenous peoples. Over centuries, it has evolved by blending influences from Spanish, African and other cultures, creating a unique and diverse tapestry of regional styles.
