CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Rooted in Cheyenne will be conducting its 16th neighborhood tree planting event Sept. 21. Local green industry professionals, Rooted in Cheyenne board members, City Forestry staff and volunteers will be planting over 150 trees along Cheyenne’s streets.

Thanks to sponsorship from American Forests and funding from Microsoft, Rooted in Cheyenne will be providing 50 free trees in select neighborhoods in need of tree canopy. Motorists are asked to slow down and be cautious of crews planting trees in the right of way.
