CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Although summer events have died down, plenty of events are still occurring in Cheyenne on Friday nights and on weekends.

Dancing with the Stars of Cheyenne

Where: Event Center at Archer
When: 5 p.m.

Join the Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne for Dancing with the Stars on Friday! Taking place at the Event Center at Archer, this ROARING evening will feature all things feathers, flappers and jazz!

Each dance team is putting on their finest dancing shoes and preparing for the performance of a lifetime, with the goal of winning the Judge’s Choice competition and earning your votes for People’s Choice! The lineup includes:

  • Dr. Alana Workman, Cheyenne Regional Cancer Center, and David Urquidez, Dance Spirit Dance Studio
  • Mike Williams, Jonah Bank of Wyoming, and Michelle O’Hare, Act Two Studios

Bubbles ‘N’ Bones Planters

Where: Sunshine Plant Company, 600 W. 17th St.
When: 6–7:30 p.m.

Our in-house workshops are back from the dead to kick off the spooky season! We are planting up some “string of” plants in bathtubs with some funky skeletons. Char-BOO-terie and light refreshments are included!

Pokémon Trainer Academy

Where: Collectors Hub, 312 W. 17th St.
When: 6–7 p.m.

Free; learn how to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game!

Great for beginners, those who haven’t played in a while and anyone who has questions about gameplay and strategy.

PLAY! POKÉMON organized play follows at 7 p.m.


Pottery Class: Gnome Mugs

Where: Silver Sage Ceramics, 3110 Old Faithful Road
When: 6:30–8 p.m.

Join us for a one-time experience learning how to hand-build an adorable gnome! As one of our most popular classes, this fills up fast so make sure to snag a spot while you can! All levels welcome. Friday Night Magic

When: 6:30–10 p.m.

Join for Friday Night Magic draft and release events.


FNM @ The Hub

Where: Collectors Hub, 312 W. 17th St.
When: 6:30–11 p.m.

Enjoy Commander, Standard, Modern, and Draft formats!

Tournaments will depend on attendance and game preference for the night!

We have open tables for free play as well!


Pokémon TCG Fridays @ The Hub

Where: Collectors Hub, 312 W. 17th St.
When: 7–10 p.m.

Come on in and learn the game or just come in for free play!! All new and novice players are welcome! We will be hosting Leagues and other Pokémon events in the future as well!! We run League, Tournaments and free play!

$5 entry for Tournaments. Pokémon Prize packs awarded for prize support.


Cheyenne Little Theatre’s ‘Camelot’

Where: Mary Godfrey Theatre, 2706 E. Pershing Blvd.
When: 7:30 p.m.

Lerner and Loewe’s “Camelot,” the musical retelling of the story of King Arthur, is showing at the Mary Godfrey Playhouse from Sept. 20 through Oct. 6.
