Free stained glass tour highlights Cheyenne’s downtown churches

CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne’s Historic Preservation Board, in collaboration with Ward I Councilmembers Pete Laybourn and Jeff White, will host a stained glass tour of downtown Cheyenne churches on Saturday, Oct. 5. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., according to a press release by the councilmembers.

The tour will start at the First United Methodist Church, located at 108 E. 18th St. It will also feature stained glass displays at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, St. Mary’s Cathedral and First Presbyterian Church.

Participants have the option to walk between the churches or ride a trolley provided for the event. The event is free, and no reservations are required.
