CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Halloween Harvest Market, held at the Event Center at Archer on Oct. 19, attracted crowds from across Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska. Attendees packed the parking lot early as they browsed through an impressive 184 vendors offering handmade crafts, holiday décor and unique gifts.
Simplicity 307’s Alana Stottlemyer, an event organizer, emphasized the family-friendly atmosphere.
“We provide fun for the kids and something for everyone,” Stottlemyer said.
This annual event also introduced a new raffle for adults. Purchases over $10 from any vendor earned participants raffle tickets, with prizes ranging from a TV to a grocery gift card.
For the little ones, the Laramie County 4-H carnival featured games and activities. Carnival armbands were sold for $10, with proceeds benefiting the local 4-H program. Balloon twisting from Alpacaglobo Balloons and free trick-or-treating at participating vendor booths kept children entertained throughout the day.
Admission and parking were free for the event, which ran from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Attendees also enjoyed food and drinks provided by Uncle Fred’s Catering, a sponsor of the Halloween Carnival.
This popular annual market provided a head start on holiday shopping while supporting local vendors and raising funds for community programs.
