Lantern Walk at the Children’s Village

Where: Cheyenne Botanic Gardens, 710 S. Lions Park Drive
When: 4 p.m.

St. Martin’s Day is a beloved children’s holiday in Germany with homemade lanterns, songs and stories. Meet darkness with light to bring an end to the harvest season and join us to learn the traditions, make a lantern and end with a short parade around the Children’s Village.

This is a fun-filled event for families. Pre-registration is required, and the event is located in the Paul Smith Children’s Village.


Fifth Annual Ladies Night

Where: The Office Bar & Grill, 1600 E. Pershing Blvd.
When: 5 p.m.

Join us for an adult-only evening featuring door prizes, hors d’oeuvres, drinks, shopping and more!

The event is free to the public and hosted by Northview Medical.


Friday Night Strongman: Axle Press

Where: Above the Rest Training Systems, 1408 E. 13th St.
When: 6 p.m.

Join us for a night filled with adrenaline and camaraderie as you take on the classic axle press. This robust challenge emphasizes both power and technique, offering a unique opportunity to showcase your strength in a supportive and friendly atmosphere.

Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just starting your fitness journey, everyone is welcome! Our community is here to support you every step of the way.

Admission is free. That’s right, it’s on the house! This is your chance to discover the magic of strongman training without any cost.

‘The Nutcracker’

Where: Cheyenne Civic Center, 510 W. 20th St.
When: 7 p.m.

Join the Grand Kyiv ballet on an unforgettable journey into a world of dreams, magic and triumph over evil. The Grand Kyiv Ballet, including the most prestigious Ballet dancers from Ukraine, invites you to a heartwarming experience that has thrilled audiences on the world’s stages for years. 

In this enchanting tale, a young girl befriends a nutcracker that comes to life on Christmas Eve. Together, they embark on a fantastical journey to a magical kingdom filled with dancing sugar plum fairies, toy soldiers and other whimsical characters. Through their adventures, she learns that love, imagination and kindness can overcome adversity and create wonder in our lives.

“The Nutcracker” was adapted into a ballet in 1892, by Pyotr Tchaikovsky with a libretto by Marius Petipa, and was based on the story “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King” by E.T.A. Hoffmann.

‘The Velveteen Rabbit’

Where: Mary Godfrey Playhouse, 2706 E. Pershing Blvd.
When: 7:30 p.m.

“The Velveteen Rabbit” provides young audiences with comedy, pathos, adventure and a final triumph for the hero, who learns that love makes all things real.

Written as a “memory play,” “The Velveteen Rabbit” is an emotional journey through time, as told through the eyes of a young man looking back on his childhood. By reliving the relationship between his 4-year-old self and his favorite toy, the velveteen rabbit, he rediscovers the true meaning of friendship.

The production is adapted by James Still from the classic story by Margery Williams. Director is Diane Edgar.
