Bench for the Board and Friendsgiving

Where: Above the Rest Training Systems, 1408 E. 13th St.
When: 4 p.m.

Join us to test out your bench press strength at Bench for the Board (B4TB) Friendsgiving at Above the Rest Training Systems! Lifting starts at 4 p.m.; Friendsgiving dinner follows at 6 p.m.

This free community event invites everyone — from seasoned powerlifters to first-time bench press enthusiasts — to showcase their bench press prowess.

How It Works: Athletes are welcome to jump in at any time during the event to make attempts on the bench press. We gradually increase the weight on the bar to accommodate various skill levels until all participants have had a chance to hit their best lift. It’s all about the bench press! No other lifts involved, just pure strength on display.

All skill levels are welcome! Whether you’re a seasoned lifter or just starting your strength journey, this event is for you. Come and test your bench press limits in a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.

Expect friendly competition, commemoration of your best lift on our Bench Board and community camaraderie and support.

No registration fees or requirements — just show up, lift and be part of the B4TB legacy!

Let’s make this event one for the books! Spread the strength and mark your calendars for an incredible day of bench pressing at Above the Rest Training Systems. We can’t wait to see you there!

After everyone has completed Bench for the Board, stick around for ART’s annual Friendsgiving Potluck Dinner. Turkey and brisket will be provided, and participants are encouraged to bring sides, salads, desserts or beverages.

Sunday

Soulful Sunday

Where: Railspur, 707 W. Lincolnway
When: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Join Theresa Hansen at Railspur. I am so honored that Juan has invited me in to cook up some great yoga and energy in his space.

As many of you know I do yoga in a lot of small businesses around Cheyenne and I love doing it. I hope that you will join me at this new location.

As always you will be guided through an hour-long Vinyasa Flow suitable for all levels of yogi. Theresa teaches in a way to make you feel comfortable and makes the practice accessible to all. Theresa will infuse each class with some flavorful theming to leave you deeply connected to yourself and asking some deeper questions of yourself. This practice will leave you stretched and relaxed.

Class will flow at 11 am. Mimosas can flow before, during and after. Please bring a mat.

Preregister and tell a friend!

Cost is $25. Click here to register.
