CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The following is a list of events going on in Wyoming’s capital city this weekend. This list focuses on curating local events that are free, family friendly and community-based. Some listings may be seasonal and require an entrance fee or ticket. Weekly recurring events in the community are typically not included in this list. Friday

Holiday Hoorah at the Hynds

Where: 1602 Capitol Ave.
When: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Fourth Annual Holiday Hoorah is a Vendor Mart in the heart of downtown Cheyenne at the Historic Hynds Building. This three-day event coincides with Shop Small Saturday, when the weekend shoppers traditionally begin in earnest to search for their Holiday gift-giving.


Saturday

Heroes & Harmony Holiday Market

Where: Little America Hotel & Resort, 2800 W. Lincolnway
When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

We are pleased to announce a new partnership with the luxurious Little America Hotel and Resort for your Small Business Saturday shopping! Join us for a full day in the ballrooms of Little America, where you can shop from over 120 small businesses gathered under one roof. 

Santa will be stopping by from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to visit and pose for photos (you take your own photos). Take a break from shopping and enjoy a 10% discount on a yummy lunch or tasty coffee from Carol’s Cafe.

Proceeds from this event benefit local first responders through Simply Heroes and Harmony Chapter 57 Order of the Eastern Star.


Small Business Saturday

Where: Frontier Mall, 1400 Dell Range Blvd.
When: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

We encourage you to shop from small, local entrepreneurs and artists this gift-giving season. Not only do they work hard all year long to create incredible handmade products — the majority of them have full-time jobs, take care of families and more!

With the variety of vendors at this event, you are sure to find some unique, quality gifts and keepsakes to treasure for a lifetime as well as support a neighbor!

The first FIFTY customers to spend $25 or more at any vendor booth will receive a free gift bag! *Stay tuned for more details*

All vendors will be available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. However, a great selection will be showcasing their products until 8 p.m.! Stop by all day on Saturday to meet these great vendors.

34th Annual Christmas Parade

Where: Historic Atlas Theatre, 211 W. Lincolnway
When: 5 p.m.

Join us for the 34th Annual Christmas Parade at the Historic Atlas Theater. Watch the parade from a warm location or borrow a chair and sit out front. Enjoy a Hot Cup of Cocoa and a bucket of popcorn! Restrooms will be available.
